Bradford Ross-MacLeod The serene beauty of this release from Loneward (AKA Altus) cannot be denied. Over the course of the album, this music creates the warm and inviting sense of home that we all crave. It is a place to retreat and recharge from life and find that true center that we yearn for. Simply magnificent! Favorite track: Memories Past.

Allister Thompson Loneward being Altus's "ambient" project, allowing him to indulge the more soundtracky, new agey parts of his interests elsewhere, has also allowed him to focus on a more minimal, expansive, drifty side to his compositions. This really does feel like a peaceful home I want to live in. Goes well with a little vintage Thom Brennan. Favorite track: Memories Past.

Sacred Space 08:50

What is a place one can truly call home? An abode to savour life's simplest treasures; remember memories past; a speck of light amid a world of dark; warmth to battle the cold. For some it has always been attainable, while others have misplaced their map, or damaged their compass. It could be in front of them and hidden in plain sight. The meaning of home is beyond simple definition. However, most important is once within that sacred space, you are whole. If you’re unable to achieve this, you must change what is necessary until you can. You deserve no less.
